Really cool vocals on this, and some great percussive stuff. Love the triangle!
You sell yourself short on this, it's very well done. The backwards guitar section is nice and weird. Then the acoustic strumming after that! Excellent. Nice work.

how nutso, this is the ep-it-toe-me of crazy joy.
I also enjoy the thing that goes kaa..aaa, reminds me of the thingy that Zappa used in Willy the Pimp.
great groove, it's a bunch of fun.

Thankyou - that's very kind. The kaaaaaaaaaaa is meant to be a vibraslap.

Oh man.. this is freaking awesome as all holy hell.... listened to the original first for comparison, and I like how you've maintained it's sense of movement and rhythm, and most of the vocal melodies, but at the same time, you've made it somethingelse.. something creepy and cool and just a little dark.. just my kind of music.. just freaking awesome... I dare say even the slight rush in production might have added to the awesomeness of this.. it feels a bit improv, in a very good way.. damn.. okay, it's over now.. that was awesome... I know I've said awesome a lot, but that was just awesome... I'm downloading this one.. def. a new dm favorite...

Great job, my friend! I give you my personal seal of approval on this. I love your take on the song and hereby give you permission to cover any song I've ever written ~ Dave Preston

Definitely a different take on the original Nice groove and production was bigtime improv I like the way the song struggles along fitting the lyrics very enjoyably and the loss of
signal effect accidentally on purpose Great job James this is what it's all about

Definitely different, but it is one of the most interesting tracks I've heard for quite a while. I think a few more listens and I'll be addicted.

I like how you opened the drawer to the auxillary percussion and....decided to use everything you could find! The backwards part, kinda Belewesque. The mental image I have is this being performed on the deck of a ship?

Hate9wicket is spot on about the aux. perc. and it all makes me smile. It has a child-like swing to it and floats along in an innocent way. Lots of highlights and frills but they stay in their place and never take over the tune.
